Emilia Dides

Emilia Ignacia Dides Maffei (born 29 June 1999) is a Chilean singer, model and beauty pageant titleholder who won Miss Universe Chile 2024. She represented, Chile at the Miss Universe 2024, pageant and finished a sa Top 12 semifinalist.

Personal life

Dides was born on 29 June 1999, in Vitacura, Santiago. She’s of Lebanese and Italian descent. Dides studied at the Universidad Mayor, a private university in Santiago.

Career

In 2018, Dides entered the second season of the television talent competition Rojo, el color del talento ("Red, the color of talent"). After winning the competition, Dides obtained a scholarship to study at the Jackie Arredondo Music World in Miami, Florida.

Dides released several singles under the pseudonym "Emi D" such as "Quiéreme bien", "Inevitable" and "Hay danger". She also participated in The Covers of Mega.
